Dance performance workshop for families (11:00 - 13:00)
¡AY! ¡YA! is a workshop about perceiving reality in the different ways suggested by the imagination or caused by optical illusions. We will investigate how our eyes are not video cameras which record everything that takes place. Rather, our
brain interprets and reformulates the information provided by our senses.
*Participants should bring two changes of comfortable red and white clothing (red trousers and red t-shirt, and white trousers and white t-shirt) and a hooded sweatshirt.
The performance... (17:00)
In ¡AY! ¡YA!, observing becomes a game and an illusion created when the image before us transforms into another, multiplies or simply takes on impossible forms. In this performance, ‘the illusion’ is the essence of theatre. We’ll encounter different bodies which interact with one another. Incomplete, adaptable and malleable bodies with various extremities. It’s a dance performance for everyone. And, an excuse to see each other again.
