Dialogue with the exhibitions


How can dialogues be generated in exhibition rooms? How can specific expertise from the field of artistic practice crossover with that of other fields?  How can collective research processes be structured in this framework?

Working With-From-In the exhibitions means approaching them as permeable and dynamic systems leading to crossover of knowledge. Exhibitions are constellations that can be activated and read from different territories and be used to generate new meanings.

Pedagogies and public spaces


What educational potential exists in the public spaces? Can they condition behaviours and limit actions? How can we intervene there to construct communities?

Public spaces are places where learning constantly takes place. Urban planning and architectural manoeuvres have the capacity to mainstream certain attitudes and expel those that do not fit into the hegemony. Public spaces must be experiences and inhabited in common, and education is a good place to think about their uses and their possible transformations.

Audiovisual narratives


How powerful is audiovisual production as a trigger of learning processes? Can alternatives to the dominant ways of seeing, listening or narrating be generated? Can we think critically about the images that we produce and disseminate?

Audiovisual practices enable the creation of new worlds. A film is capable of activating subjectivation processes and, at the same time, collective representation. Narrating, acting, listening or looking may be seen as acts of political positioning.

Corporal and feminist pedagogies


Is all knowledge located at the same level or does some become invisible? How can listening to the body and learning be activated from that place? What are we referring to when talking about the importance of putting life and caring at the centre?

Expertise and knowledge lacking legitimacy exist which should be enunciated to deconstruct categories.  Demanding mutual learning through caring, putting life and the body as the same level as intellect, is priority today. Embodying new ways of relating to thus subvert traditional hierarchies.

Eskola: Mediation as research


What research practices occur from the situated knowledge of mediation?  How can we reflect on our practices through the educational work itself?  What research and action methodologies interest us in this field?

Education must be a constant assessment and reflection process. In this regard,  we propose approaching it as collective research and cultural production, along with a process to experiment new ways of institutionalization.  Pedagogy outwards and inwards of the institution.
