Iain Ball

Iain Ball (1985, UK) ‘s work is concerned with exploring methods to combat emergent feelings of alienation, loss of place, and identity resulting from the technological revolution. 

His project Rare Earth Sculpture Series (since 2011) considers the challenge of ecology and sustainability, cognitive shifts and new perspectives on lifestyle within a post capitalist society. 

Ball received his MFA in sculpture at Slade School of Fine Arts in 2015 and currently lives and works in London. 

Ball has exhibited at Darse Comfort, Zurich (2010); New Gallery, London (2010); V4ULT, Berlin (2013); Preteen, Mexico City (2011); Rare Earth at Thyssen-Bornemisza Art (TBA) Contemporary, Vienna (2015), FOMO, Syntax, Lisbon (2015), Energy PANGEA, Future Gallery, Berlin (2015) and Praseodymium in Cell project Space, London (2016).
